Caitlin Schmitt (b. 1986, California) is interested in painting as a form of healing. Her intuitive, powerful work seeks to share the ineffable, hidden, and magical energetic processes that heal our wounds. All her work is ultimately alchemical in nature, processing the inner landscape into a sacred visual form through intuitive mark making on the canvas.
